Place chicken in a large resealable bag. Dump all the rest of the ingredients in the bag. Squish it to mix everything together. Remove the excess air, seal, and freeze.
On the day of cooking, take the bag out of the freezer to thaw. You can cook it in the oven or in the slow cooker.
Oven Cooking Instructions:
Thaw. Place chicken and sauce in a covered casserole dish. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for one hour, uncover during the last 10 minutes.
Slow Cooker Cooking Instructions:
Thaw. Place chicken and sauce into the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
Notes
Use gluten free soy sauce to make this gluten free. You can use alcohol-free wine if you prefer.This recipe can also be made with 8-10 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (approx. 2 lbs.)
