Maple Dill Carrots

  • 3 1/2 cups carrots peeled and sliced
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tsp. fresh dill
  • 2 medium (quart) freezer bag


Assembly Instructions:

  • Place everything together in a large freezer bag or two medium sized freezer bags.
  • Toss to combine.
  • Remove excess air. Seal and freeze.

Cooking Instructions:

  • Thaw.
  • Preheat the oven to 425°.
  • Spray a cookie sheet with olive oil.
  • Dump the contents of the bag onto the greased sheet.
  • Put the pan in the oven for 10 minutes, stir. Return to the oven for another 12-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Carrots are done when they are tender and some of the edges are browning.
