Ingredients
- 2 6 oz. flaked tuna canned, drained
- 1/4 cup onion chopped
- 2 cups cheddar cheese grated
- 2 10 oz. cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup peas frozen
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper chopped
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 large (gallon) freezer bag or reusable silicone bag
For cooking day:
- 1 12 oz. egg noodles
Instructions
Assembly instructions:
- Mix everything together in a large bowl.
- Put mixture into a large resealable bag.
- Remove the excess air and seal. Lay flat and freeze.
Cooking instructions:
- Thaw.
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions.
- Mix the noodles with the contents of the freezer bag.
- Put in a casserole dish and bake at 425° for 20-30 minutes.
Notes
Pro tip: The entire casserole can be made ahead so there's less to do on cooking day. Simple cook the noodles to slightly underdone (to avoid mushiness), cool slightly, and mix in with everything else before freezing.
