  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef browned
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 28 oz. tomato sauce
  • 5 1/2 oz. tomato paste
  • 14 oz. diced tomatoes canned
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. honey melted
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • dash pepper
  • 1 large (gallon) freezer bag or reusable silicone bag


Assembly Instructions:

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet until no longer pink, breaking into small pieces as it cooks. Chop the onion and green pepper. Mince the garlic.
  • Add all the ingredients into a large resealable freezer bag and then squish together. Remove the excess air, seal and freeze.

Stovetop Cooking Instructions:

  • Thaw. Heat in a large pot on stovetop over medium until desired heat is achieved. Serve over spaghetti noodles or gluten free noodles, cooked according to package directions.

Slow Cooker Instructions:

  • Thaw. Cook in the crock pot on low for 2-4 hours. Serve of spaghetti noodles or gluten free noodles cooked according to package directions.


Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and Parmesan or Asiago if desired. For a fresh take on this recipe, stir a bit of torn fresh basil into the cooked noodles before serving.
