  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground pork or ground Italian sausage, browned
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 4 clove garlic minced
  • 16 oz. coleslaw mix bagged
  • 1/2 cup carrots shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1-2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 large (gallon) freezer bag or reusable silicone bag


Assembly instructions:

  • Add the browned ground pork or sausage to a large freezer bag. Add all other ingredients.
  • Mix together, then remove the excess air from the bag and seal. Freeze.

Cooking instructions:

  • Thaw.
  • Add the contents of the bag to a large skillet.
  • Cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve with sliced green onions on top if desired.


We have made this recipe with both regular soy sauce and low-sodium soy sauce and found that making it with regular soy sauce is on the salty side. We recommend that you use low-sodium soy sauce for this recipe. You'll be glad you did!
