Ingredients

  • 2 19 oz. chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp. ginger grated
  • 3 Thai chilies
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 2 tsp. turmeric
  • 2 tsp. garam masala
  • 1 5 oz. tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 large (gallon) freezer bag or reusable silicone bag

Instructions

Assembly instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to a large freezer bag. Remove excess air, seal, and freeze.

Cooking instructions:

  • Thaw. Pour into slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

Notes

If desired, top with fresh cilantro. Serve with basmati rice or naan.
